Pine Bluff, AR - Alabama State will face Jackson State tonight at 9:30 p.m. EST in College Park, Georgia, with the game being broadcast on ESPNU/ESPN+.

Alabama State (18-15) recently defeated Grambling State (12-22) with a score of 64-62. Meanwhile, Jackson State (16-17) secured a victory against Bethune-Cookman (17-16), winning 71-50.

Team History

The two teams previously met on January 11, 2025, when Jackson State defeated Alabama State 77-70 at the Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Dorian McMillian led Jackson State in that game, scoring 23 points and grabbing 7 rebounds, while Tamarion Hoover contributed significantly with 10 rebounds. Alabama State last won the tournament in 2011, while Jackson State's most recent championship was in 2007.
