The Indiana Pacers are heading to the NBA Finals after cruising past the New York Knicks 125-108. Leading the Pacers to victory was MVP of the Eastern Conference Finals, Pascal Siakam, who scored 31 points. Tyrese Haliburton also contributed with 21 points and 13 assists.
This marks the Pacers second appearance in the NBA Finals, and it has been 25 years since they’ve been to this stage. The previous Finals appearance for Indiana was in 2000 when they faced Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal, and the Los Angeles Lakers. The Pacers have never won an NBA Championship.
Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Indiana Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder will take place on June 5th at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City at 8:30 PM ET on ABC.
