The NFL regular season kicks off in 32 days, and Terry McLaurin has yet to receive a new contract deal from the Washington Commanders. Recently, he requested a trade from the team.

With McLaurin having 1,096 receiving yards with 13 touchdowns last season, he is seeking for a more improved contract. Teams that should consider pursuing him include the Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Arizona Cardinals.

The Packers would be a great fit for McLaurin. With Jordan Love at quarterback, having a proven veteran in the wide receiver room would be invaluable. A combination of McLaurin and Jayden Reed could create a dynamic duo, opening the passing game and providing more opportunities for the younger receivers on the team.

The Steelers could also benefit from McLaurin’s talents. With a veteran quarterback like Aaron Rodgers, McLaurin would have the chance to shine. Additionally, pairing him with DK Metcalf would pose a significant challenge for opposing defense. Both receivers could be effectively utilized both in the slot and on the outside, leveraging their experience to create mismatches.

Finally, the Arizona Cardinals represent another solid option for McLaurin. He would join Marvin Harrison Jr which would be an exciting pairing as Kyler Murray looks to add more weapons to his receiver corps. Harrison Jr is coming off his rookie season and has a greater understanding of the game now. If McLaurin were to join the Cardinals, he could potentially secure a more improved contract and take on a veteran leadership role in the wide receiver room.
