The Oklahoma City Thunder are headed to the NBA Finals after defeating the Minnesota
Timberwolves 124-94. MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 34 points, along with 7 rebounds and 8 assists, and earned the Magic Johnson Western Conference Finals MVP award.
Despite their victory against Minnesota, the team remains focused and eager for more.
“It feels like we have work to do,” said Jalen Williams, Thunder Forward.
The Thunder hasn't reached the Finals since 2012. In their last appearance, they faced the Miami Heat and lost the series 4-1.
Now, the Thunder await their opponent, as the Indiana Pacers lead the New York Knicks 3-1 in the Eastern Conference Final.
The Pacers will travel to Madison Square Garden in New York to take on the Knicks at 8 P.M. ET.
