Jordan Pierre has advanced in the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championship, posting his personal best time of 45.44 seconds and placing 8th in the 400-meter event.

Unfortunately, the rest of the Golden Lions team did not advance. The 4x100 relay team fell short, finishing behind Tennessee and USC in the first heat. The Golden Lions recorded a time of 39.27 seconds, while Tennessee's team qualified with a time of 38.47 seconds, and USC's team qualified with a time of 38.71 seconds.

Pierre is set to return to Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, to compete in the 400-meter event this Friday, June 11th, at 9:02 PM ET on ESPN+.
