Boston College Leaves Adidas and Signs with New Balance By:Shahid Evans

In a historic move, Boston College has signed a sponsorship agreement with New Balance, making it the first major NCAA football program to partner with the brand.

Since 2021, Boston College has worn New Balance gear in all sports except for football. Prior to this, the university had a sponsorship deal with Under Armour from 2010 to 2020. Then, in 2021, the football team signed with Adidas. 

This partnership is a smart strategic move for New Balance, as it could open doors for recruiting other athletic programs and enhance the brand's visibility across the nation.

Under this new agreement, New Balance will provide uniforms, apparel, and footwear for 30 of Boston College's 31 varsity sports, completing the brand's presence across the college's athletic programs.
