Pine Bluff, AR – The Alabama State men's basketball team, boasting a record of 19-15,
triumphed over Jackson State, which finished the season with a record of 16-18, by a
score of 60-56 in College Park, Georgia. Cj Hines led the Hornets with 20 points, while Tj
Madlock made significant contributions with the most rebounds and assists. With
Alabama State victory over Jackson State, Alabama State clinched the SWAC title and
secured a spot in the NCAA March Madness Tournament.
Alabama State's Tournament History
The Alabama State men's basketball team has qualified for the NCAA tournament four
times, with their most recent appearance in 2011 under head coach Lewis Jackson.
However, the team has never advanced past the first round.

The seeding for the Men’s Basketball Tournament will be announced on March 16, 2025,
